The day is 28th May. Wednesday. First week of June hols 2008, JC2 at RJC.

What a fun and meaningfully enjoyable day. These are just some of the crystalline moments I just love to capture down on print [virtually] so that I will never forget them.

The day started out simple enough, QH, CM, CQ, Dexter and myself met up to watch Indiana Jones & The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at 11. I had originally wanted to buy a Breakfast King from the BK store right beside the Yishun GV Cineplex and smuggle it into the theatre, BUT I realized that I didn't bring my wallet.... :S:S:S:S

Anyways luckily QH and CM were there earlier and QH helped pay for me. CQ and Dexter came later and we a bit late but because of all the usual advertisements before the show we still managed to arrive "early". Haha. It was quite interesting to see how Dexter (who had a not-very-good impression of Indy at first) crack up and really think it was cool. And CM, who isn't your cuddle-up-to-me-with-teddy-bears kind of person, who really enjoyed such a fantasical show. It was very cool that I was able to convince my friends how awesome one of my favourite movie icons (Indiana) was. :) :)

Ok I won't go talking about the movie here cos you can just go read it up from Wiki or something, but I just wanted to say that it ROCKED! All the nostalgia really paid off! And the director was really cool in making so many references to the past 3 films, it really makes the fans shake in their seats! Kudos to Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeaof (how do you spell it) and ZOMG KAREN ALLEN! LOVE YOU GAL!!!!

Ok anyway, the real fun part came after the movie. We proceeded to eat lunch at Northpoint, and then we didn't know what to do before Qihua and I had to go back to school for our GP remedial. Our first thought was to watch "Accuracy of Death", and we really intended to except that... GV Yishun didn't have it -.-

SOOO we checked around and realized that GV at Plaza Singapura was the only place that screened it. We had alot of trouble and hesitation going there because well, I DIDN'T HAVE MY WALLET SO I DIDN'T HAVE MY EZ LINK CARD, so after alot of postulations like asking my mom to drive us there, or going to Ang Mo Kio Hub since CQ was going there, we decided to buy a movie and watch at CM's house nearby. CQ then left us after we decided on staying in Yishun.

We spent about 30 mins in the shop searching for a movie to watch and CM finally decided on Hero, the Japanese film, not the Chinese one. So... then we started saying "Oh we have't been to Joshua's house before" etc etc and in the end we took my mom's car back to my place :)

And that's when the fun began. Alot of bonding time and typical games etc but still very fun with friends you really like. We began my watching the first part of Iron Man, before we switched to Hero that we just bought. I then started playing Congkak with Dexter. ZOMG! So fun! The first time I played in YEARS!!!! And I still managed to win :) OK la, Dexter won alot also Haha.

After the show we all played the Australian Outdoor Desert Game, a game that I myself have never played because I didn't know the rules. But we played together and it was QUITE fun LOL! Just that we couldn't remember all the plant names :S :S =.=

After that we went into the study (nice air con, the only times when my mom switches on the air con in the study, lol quite sad) and watched some retarded dota replay and played Risk. LOL! RISK! It got quite stressful around the end cos CM, QH and I teamed up to oust Dexter off the map, and it really pist him off (yes Dexter I could tell). But take it as a compliment! We foresaw your foresight (lol, alliteration) and hence you were a big threat to our dominance. xD And sorry ok? It was just a game, dun take things so hard ok? Yes I know 3 v 1 is quite frustrating ... Sorry! :(

Ok then just as Dexter was about to vanquish and conquer the entire Americas it was time for dinner - delicious home-made spaghetti! Very nice!!! Watched a bit of Terminator 3 too while eating. Afterwards we returned to the study but switched to Monopoly before anyone started getting really angry. CM then went to Youtube and watched some totally retarded Jap videos. Ooo... The food gorging contest was SICK!!!

Lol Monopoly was fun :) CM half watched and half played, and even though he was the first to build hotels, he "sacrificed" himself by giving me some outrageous deal to get the game going. I then used his "deal" to secure my first plots of uniformed land, and built hotels! It was so funny... QH almost died at the start, but in the end CM went completely bankrupt.. and I was the day's biggest winner! $3500 not counting all the 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 dollar bills! Not to mention 3 orange plots with full hotels and 3 yellow plots. It was so funny.. Would have loved to continue playing on... Who knew what could have happened?

I think Dexter would be the next to die since QH had immunity for all his plots and QH had the money to build.. Hmm.. really wanted to complete the game but it was 10:30 and too late so they had to go.

It's quite cool also that they all have direct buses home. Dexter can take 53 and CM and QH can take 39. Sorry CM! Make you miss your shuttle bus!

Wah fun day. Very sleepy and tired now. Check email then must sleep liao. BB ALL! Cheers to friends and board games! :):):)

I know many people have said this before and I know everyone has their day to reflect. And today is mine. How often have I done something so routinely, so monotonously, never giving it second thought until it is over and in my free time wherein my mind finds itself both wandering and wondering, trying hard to fathom the joy and experience that one has had in the past, but can't.

I've just submitted the Bowling article for Press and I've just realized my duties for Raffles Press has ended forever. FOREVER. WOW. Interesting. And soon, AV will end, and then 08S03L will end, then JC will end... Friends... Love... Kinship... Memories... Regret... Apathy... Joy... Experience... Maturing....
