Haha... 2008 has started, and like all year-starts, my birthday has come and gone. Still rmb last year's birthday, where I was genuinely touched that a class that I knew for 2 days would actually buy a cake for me, write me a card with everyone's well wishes on them just for me! Of course I still rmb having my face smashed with the cake. LOL! And also who can forget my OG celebrating my birthday for me as well the very same day. Luckily I pre-empted their cake smashing routine and I deflected the cake to someone else! LOL! Haha... wonderful memories even though my OG has somewhat died...
Anyway, this year definitely started more solemnly, obviously because of A levels and stuff... So everyone must mug more. So you can sense that people are more focussed in their work and really putting in effort to study harder and do their tutorials beforehand. So it was good that before we really started going down to crunch time, a bunch of us decided to spend my birthday together LANing and eating and the super nice Fish & Co Glass House. Was actually quite touched that they bothered to eat with me with my rather expensive consumption locales even though they all had budgets. So I was feeling kinda guilty (haha) so in an act of goodwill as well as appreciation for their friendship and attendance I offered to pay part of the bill for them who didn't did not mind paying the full bill themselves. To anyone of them who is reading this (yes I know I said b4 no one reads these but apparently there's alot of silent visitors...), don't feel PS ok? It was my pleasure :)
Haha if I was more mushy I would have wrote something like this:

All my class who gave me a nice card and sang happy birthday to me on friday (actually I'm quite adverse to public displays of affection, yup singing happy bday songs count), and the comments/wishes inside were so much better than last year's generic comments of "god bless you" or "nice meeting you" or "hope to know you better soon" etc etc. LOL! Haha of course I don't blame them at that time la...
Okok! Enough of last year! Must move on! Too many people in my life to cherish and not enough time! And A levels doesn't help either!!! So a big thank you to the others who wished me well through sms, personally, email, MSN etc (excluding the darlings already mentioned above).

[I auto delete most messages]), my parents who have always been the best to me but I never reciprocate their agape love appropriately, and above all things, God for keeping me safe and opening my eyes to what truly matters and what I have to do to get things right in my life. Praise Adonai.
