Of Chem lecture tests and screwed up computers. What can I say? Like, it was so freaking hard, and I'm referring to the first 3 MCQs. Like, upon collection of the results, and like upon 25, I only did 11 marks worth of questions caused I spent like 30 min on those freakin 3 marks and the last 10 mins for the rest of the 22 marks. So I think it's not bad to get 6 out of 11 marks that I did. So its 55% and I pass! :)
OK, disastrous tests aside (the first chem test I ever failed in my life), my computer has been screwy recently. First, my anti-virus software failed and lagged my com, and by the time i fixed it it had expired... =.= Then we went to buy the 2007 version of the anti-virus thing and realized we got cheated and so had to go back to exchange it for a better one. So, finally after that, before we could load it, I accidentally clicked on an MSN virus and got screwed =.= then after we rectified it by system restore, my dad did something and caused all webpages to be blocked, so we had to take the computer down to some centre to fix it, then went back and realized it was the modem that was spoil, so brought that to the fixing centre, and finally when everything was fixed, we tried to install the new anti-virus software but it was so laggy my com crashed and it wasn't until the next day I could function the thing. and FINALLY, it crashed again when doing the first virus scan....
Like, OMG! Com is soooo screwed! I wanna new com!
And i want YOU!

Ah-haha. It's been a long time. Wow. Since October. That's like... 4 months ago since I last blogged! WOW! So many things has happened since then. BB Passing-out parade, Chinese O Levels Exam, EOY Exams, Graduation Ceremony, Graduation Night, church camp, L'audeamus, 08S03L, Chinese Os results... and today.
Wow. Indeed it has been eventful. So maybe this blog shall die out again in a few days/weeks/months, but as of now i shall blog about yesterday, 9 feb. Well, as most everyone should know, it is day of getting back o level chinese results. I must say that i wasn't really anxious at all cos i knew the minimum i would get would probably be a B3, based on the paper difficulty, but then again thinking about how things could turn out so wrong since it is out of your hands, and hearing YCM speaking over the mic how we were below national average, and seeing everyone clammering in fear and anxiety, i sorta hyperventilated too and the feeling about 3 seconds before you get your results slip was like a euphoric drug-like high. seriously. must be all the adrenaline and testosterone rushing to the head. wouldn't want that feeling again though, it's VERY scary. so anyway i got as what i expected and was actually overjoyed, but then seeing that everyone got A2 and A1 i got quite sad cos that meant I didn't really stand out.
BUT then again seeing batchmates break down in tears behind doors, now THAT was scary. I couldn't really comfort them though cos i dont them and if i said i know i how it feels i would be a hypocrite cos i dont. Well, at least all my close friends got good grades (meaning B3s to A1s), like Jonathan, Benoi, Ian etc, so it was cool and the atmosphere was joyous. but i came to a realization that this was it - this was the LAST official RI event of our lives. No more RI student. The next time we came we would probably just alumni. :( Sad, but then again JC life is so wonderful with my great class that for now i cant care less about RI. I'm taking it all in, man!
OK anyway after that everyone was kinda disoriented due to the sudden trauma-lessness, so there was some scrambling about what to do, so finally i decided to visit timothy's house for fun since i had nothing to do. Took the MRT to Paya Lebar, all the while talking about his favourite subject - gym. It's so funny that him and i can actually talk about gym all the way. LOL! I mean, just look our different bodily shapes.. :S
Anyway, we went to his condo, called Makena Something, and i was immediately enthralled in the picturesque scenery from the 20th storey. WOW! Lovely sea, lovely beach and lovely 4 year olds chasing after tennis balls. So we spent time looking at his Whistler and Japan photos, bringing back memories for both of us... I remember my 1997 Japan trip too. so wonderful... and my whistler trip in 2002... breathtaking...
After that cos his com was too laggy to play Little Fighter 2, we decided to listen to his home-creation songs on his piano. Seriously man, this dude's got talent. Songwriting and playing. Wow. The melodious tunes engulfed the room, and secretly one of my favourite passions is to listen to good piano... :P So anyway he played 2 of his songs for me and 1 masterpiece. All 3 were great and I really enjoyed myself just in simple life pleasures as such.
So it was nearing 6 and i bid him adieu and took a taxi home in time for my bridge tournament...
